This policy explains what personal data is collected on this website, why it is processed, and what rights you have. Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to visitors located in the European Economic Area, it is applied in full.

1. Data You Provide Directly

Email contact

If you write to us, your email address, name, and the content of your message are processed in order to respond. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). This correspondence is deleted once it is no longer required and no legal retention obligation applies.

Application form

If you apply for The Genesis Blueprint, the information you enter is processed on our own server and delivered to our mailbox. The form is operated with Fluent Forms; no external form service receives your data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). Applications are reviewed personally and deleted after 12 months unless a working relationship results, in which case statutory retention periods apply.

Email list and free ebook

If you request the free ebook, your email address is processed in order to deliver it and to send further emails about our work. Registration uses double opt-in: you receive an email containing a confirmation link, and no further emails are sent unless you click it. Your IP address and the time of registration and confirmation are recorded to document consent.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, with effect for the future. Your data is deleted upon withdrawal.

Processor: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France). A data processing agreement is in place. Privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy

2. Data Collected Automatically

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Internetwerk (Germany). Servers are located in Germany. When you visit the site, the host automatically records your IP address, the date and time of access, the file requested, the referring URL, browser type and version, and operating system.

This data is required for the secure, stable operation of the website and is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website). Retention: a maximum of 30 days. A data processing agreement is in place with the host.

Cookies and consent

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All other cookies and comparable technologies — in particular those used for analytics and advertising — are set only after you have given your consent, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Consent management is handled by Complianz. Your consent decision is stored in your browser so that you are not asked again on every visit. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, with effect for the future.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own server. No connection to Google servers or any other external provider is established when you visit, and no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

3. Analytics and Advertising

The following services are loaded only after you have given consent. Until then, no data is transmitted to these providers.

Google Analytics

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how visitors use this website — for example, which pages are viewed and how long a visit lasts. IP anonymisation is enabled, meaning your IP address is shortened before further processing. Data may be transmitted to Google LLC in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may prevent collection by withdrawing consent, or by installing the browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Meta Pixel

Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland.

The Meta Pixel allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to present relevant content to visitors on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. If you are logged into a Meta account while visiting, the pixel may connect your visit to that account. Data may be transmitted to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States, which is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can adjust how your data is used for advertising at facebook.com/settings

4. Booking a Call

Scheduling is not embedded on this website. If your application is accepted, you receive a personal booking link to TidyCal (TidyCal, United States). The name, email address, and appointment details you enter there are processed by TidyCal under its own privacy policy.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). TidyCal's privacy policy: tidycal.com/privacy

5. International Transfers

Some of the services described above are provided by companies based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is based on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on Standard Contractual Clauses, or on your explicit consent.

Please be aware that data protection standards in the United States differ from those in the European Economic Area, that authorities there may under certain conditions access transferred data, and that enforcing your rights may be more difficult as a result.

6. Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as statutory retention obligations require. Data processed on the basis of consent is deleted once that consent is withdrawn.

7. Your Rights

Where the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

  • Access — obtain confirmation of whether your data is processed, and a copy of that data (Art. 15)
  • Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected (Art. 16)
  • Erasure — have your data deleted where the legal conditions are met (Art. 17)
  • Restriction — have processing restricted in certain circumstances (Art. 18)
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (Art. 20)
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest, including profiling (Art. 21)
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand (Art. 7(3))

To exercise any of these rights, write to andreas@andreashofmann.info

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

8. Automated Decision-Making

No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place. Applications are reviewed personally.

9. Children

This website is not directed at persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect data transmitted between your browser and our server. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in the address bar and the padlock symbol in your browser.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy is reviewed periodically and updated where our services or the applicable legal requirements change. The version published here is the one that applies.
